Hi. I recently wrote a manuscript and inserted comments. Because I
have XP, the comments appeared in comment bubbles on the right side of
the page. When I sent it to my editor, she saved it on her computer,
which uses an earlier version of Word, and the comments became
embedded in the text. Now we are trying to get the comments back to
their original format, but with her corrections included. Is there a
way to do this? And if so, how?

Hi. I recently wrote a manuscript and inserted comments. Because I
have Word 2003, the comments appeared in comment bubbles on the right side of
the page. When I sent it to my editor, she saved it on her computer,
which uses Word 2000, and the comments became listed as DM1 or DM2.
To access the comments, we now have to right click on each comment
number, and then put "edit comment" before we can access the text.
Now we are trying to get the comments back to
their original format on the right side of the page, but with her
corrections included. Is there a
way to do this? And if so, how?
