I would like to find information about companies in Asia who are
manufacturing, selling, distributing or servicing PLATE heat
exchangers (PHE). To help clarify this question:

1) My interest is specifically in "PLATE" heat exchangers (PHEs), not
just any heat exchangers. PHEs are much more energy efficient, compact
(and expensive too). For example I am not interested in tube type heat
exchangers.

2) For your reference, some of the big international brands that have
presence or distributors in Asia include www.alfalaval.com,
www.apv.com, www.sondex.dk, www.gea-ecoflex.com. These are all
European brands - I haven't found any US or Japanese yet. Who are
their competitors, or up and coming competitors (see China)?

3) The three main countries of interest are Singapore, Malaysia and
China - followed by all other Asian countries (those active in these 3
will probably be elsewhere too).

4) China is of particular interest - being the world's factory these
days. I suspect many of the big players are setting up manufacturing
centres there. Are they, which ones, where?

5) Or there will be Chinese brands emerging into the international
market, or doing manufacturing JVs with the international players, ie
OEM deals? Which Chinese manufacturers have a long track record or
have already made inroads outside of China?

6) Is there any data on the Internet revealing market share of the big
players? Do websites carry individual companies sales figures or
customer references? Can anything be gleaned from annual reports, etc?
