Last year I used a hair remover cream for sensitive skin for the first
time on my upper lip. Since then I have had excess pigmentation there,
which looks like a moustache. I thought it was melasma, but then I
recently had a consultation with a laser clinic who said it was skin
damage due to the hair remover. However, i know that laser treatment
can make certain pigmentation problems, such as melasma, worse. My
doctor has been no help and I can't afford to see a dermatologist, but
I am scared that I will pay for laser treatment and it will make it
even worse. What can I do? All I see when I look in the mirror is the
pigmentation - it's in such an unfortunate place for a girl. Please
help!
