I want to buy a small over-the-ear single-ear headset with a flexible, positionable microphone that I can plug into both my Kyocera cell phone's (standard) 2.5mm jack *and* my laptop, which has two 3.5mm jacks (one for headphones, one for microphone). My general impression is that the widest variety of such headsets is designed for cell phones and thus comes with a 2.5mm jack. So I need a converter jack that has a 2.5mm female jack and *two* 3.5mm male jacks; and the two 3.5mm jacks should be connected to flexible wires rather than hard-wired into a single piece of plastic since I doubt that the distance between the microphone jack and the headphones jack on my laptop is a standard width. Where can I buy such a thing? (for under $20...I could obviously contract someone out to make such a thing, but that's overkill for a relatively minor contraption) |
