I have an old vase, it has a whole in the bottom, an painting of a
church and large letter S F 1725. What type of vessel is this?

Several researchers have had luck with these types of questions in the
past. Unfortunatley your question doesn't provide enough detail to go
on. More detail and possibly a photo would help. A price increase
might also help you get a researcher who is willing to spend the time
necesary to research and identify your vase (assuming it "can" be
identified, of course).
