Long ago, an Indian collegue and good friend of mine told me about 64(?) Hindu (?) Talents (I think that's what he called them). It went something like this: "There are 64 (?) talents that exist. Such talents include being a good teacher, athlete, thief, warrior, etc... Some say that it is your journey in life to find which talent you have and use it." I'm sure that I'm totally incorrect with the details of my story from 8 years ago. But, I hope you get the gist. So, does anyone know what I'm talking about? If so, I would like to find a list of these "Talents". Thanks, CQH Baltimore, MD |

Fewer than 64, but this might be of some interest: "Kundalini Yoga utilizes the 8 talents ? acceptance, creativity, commitment, compassion, truth, intuition, boundlessness, and radiance." http://www.yoga.com/store/product.asp?SID=1&Product_ID=2605 |

Thanks for the effort, Pink. But, I specifically remember his saying "Thief", "Teacher", and even "Prostitute". Sort of like character classes in role playing games. |

I'm no expert, but is there any chance that your friend was describing Bhuddism ? Apparently there is a list of rules, and one can select which ones to follow. |

The "I Ching" has 64 hexagrams, but the lessons don't have names like you describe.
