Trouble finding good sites Can you help me find good sites (5 links) to help answer this question? What arguments do creationists use to dismiss or invalidate the idea of evolutionary change and natural selection? Thank you |

This site provides an excellent overview of creationist arguments: "Creation-evolution controversy" Wikipedia (February 8, 2006) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creation-evolution_controversy The site includes links to a number of websites that will provide you with additional information on the creationist perspective in its "Creationist links" section. Another extensive set of links is available at: "Creation and Evolution Links" http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/rossuk/c-links.htm Here is another site that provides a variety of creationist arguments: "Creation-Evolution Encyclopedia" Pathlights http://www.pathlights.com/ce_encyclopedia/ Another compilation of links: "Creation vs. Evolution" Yahoo (2006) http://dir.yahoo.com/Society_and_Culture/Religion_and_Spirituality/Science_and_Religion/Creation_vs__Evolution/ Sincerely, Wonko Search terms: evolution creation |

The Bible puts it very simply. Genesis 1; 20-22 "20 And God went on to say: ?Let the waters swarm forth a swarm of living souls and let flying creatures fly over the earth upon the face of the expanse of the heavens.? 21 And God proceeded to create the great sea monsters and every living soul that moves about, which the waters swarmed forth according to their kinds, and every winged flying creature according to its kind. And God got to see that [it was] good. 22 With that God blessed them, saying: ?Be fruitful and become many and fill the waters in the sea basins, and let the flying creatures become many in the earth.? Note how it differentiates between the sea creatures, the great monsters [ possibly dinosaurs] and the flying creatures. The theory of evolution depends on sea creatures turning into land creatures and land creatures turning into flying creatures. And four words make the best point.." According to their kind". Of course there are some similarities but it must be remembered that everything living has to function in the same oxygen based environment . |

Putting something simply, doesn't necessarily mean that it is right. |
