I need a source for an Arche shoe. The name of the shoe is "Pandit". 
I know it is produced in the following colors: black and brown.  I
want camel or ecru, preferably, but am interested in what is
available.  I am tired of searching..."Zappo's" keeps appearing.

I'm delighted to have been able to help you with this. I certainly
know the feeling of wanting a certain kind of shoe, both for comfort
and for appearance. I once bought five identical pairs of shoes
because they were being discontinued and I wanted to be sure to have a
pair around!

Here's something interesting that I learned while researching this:
you can order Arche shoes through Amazon.com! To see what they offer,
just type "Arche shoes" into the Amazon search box. The prices are not
as good as the "Just Our Shoes" site linked above, but you can't beat
the convenience, particularly if you are also ordering other things
from Amazon.

One more thing -- on eBay, I found some very attractive green suede
Arche boots in a European size 39:

Thank you pinkfreud. Those may be the only colors left.  If it is
presented again, perhaps there will be new colors.  The alternative
shoe is very attractive, but the Arche shoes are so comfortable.  They
are made of Nubuck leather.  Additionally, they last forever.  I
should write Arche the producer to see if the shoe comes in other
colors, then I can expand my search.  There is probably some pair
somewhere.  You are right the price is superb.

I used your source to order the "Pandit" shoes (Cafe).  Do you have
time to search for another pair?  I understand there is a color in the
Arche collection named "fatigued green".  I would be interested in the
green shoe.  Burgundy and black are the other choices (not appealing).
 Size 8 U.S. (Arche size 39)--elephant sizes.

Thanks pinkfreud!!! An Arche representative sent me an attachment of
Pandit in fatigued green.  It looked very brown, but it may have been
the color of the shoe you sent the link to (Arche's Gloria).

I want to add money to the $5.00 for this search.  The Spring shoes
are arriving, so I think I will settle for the Cafe Pandit for now and
see what the new collection brings.
