Need genealogical information pertainingto Fredrick Wenger. Deceased
in Florida around 1971, in his Forties.
Was married to Theresa D. Harvey in Massachusetts until 1953. Their
daughter, Carol H. Wenger, was born in Quincy City Hospital 4/16/52.
Want to determine if he or his parents were Swiss citizens. If so,
registered at what Consulate?

I couldn't find this man's name listed on the Social Security Death
Index to get more information, but frequently there are omissions
there.

If you know for sure what Florida city he died in (please mention it
here), you can write to the county courthouse probate court to inquire
whether he has a last will & testament on file. If there is a file
available, it will have valuable information in it, such as names and
addresses of surviving relatives, etc. You could also order a copy of
his death certificate from the State of Florida for less than $10
(visit the website www.vitalchek.com and click on the Florida link and
it will direct you to the official Florida website), which would also
show the names of the parents, if the person who reported the death
(usually a family member) knew the parents names.

Please also mention the reason you want this genealogical information.
Are you an adoptee who is searching for more information about a
biological parent? Or are you trying to locate the daughter, Carol?

SINCERELY,

Actually, I'm pretty sure I found your Frederick Wenger in the SS
Death index. Go to www.familysearch.org and input his information
(and spouse) and there it is.

Actually here's the link:
http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/SSDI/individual_record.asp?recid=297204842&lds=3&region=-1&regionfriendly=&frompage=99

The LDS (mormon) church is a really good research for
genealogy...check out their site to find research centers all over the
world.

Another pay site that will probably help you out also:
www.ancestry.com

Good Luck!
