I am looking for software for apartment managers. Currently we have
20 apartment units. The software would need to allow the manager to
enter in rent, deposits, and other monies collected and record
expenses for each unit. The data would also need to be able to be
imported into Quickbooks. Additional fields to record notes and
upgrades to units would be a great feature also. Is there an add on
module to Quickbooks that would do this so the manager wouldn't have
our complete Quickbook data? Or is there another piece of
stand-alone or web based solution?

Thanks for your help.

Hi hardtofindbooks,

One of the problems we have is that the manager's computer is onsite
and the quickbooks file is at our office. I emailed MyProp but their
software would require the managers computer to have our quickbooks
file on the onsite computer.

We would rather not give the manager our complete quickbooks file.

Thanks for your help.

Visit ecratchit.com, and then give its president Ed Mulherin a call.
They are magicians with quickbooks, and solve your issue of having
quickbooks in the individual offices by setting up quickbooks as an
ASAP, which can be accessed remotely - with each manager only having
limited access.
