what is the meaning of life?

There are various answers at the present.  Within Western Science
fiction there exists two main answers to this unanswerable question.

The first comes from the recently deceased Mr. Douglas Adams who
professes that the meaning of life is 42.  The problem is that we do
not understand the question.

There are many other views, however my personal favourite would have
to be "The meaning of life is to balance making yourself happy and
making other people happy.  When you can do both you are truly a
fulfilled human being.

As I am not a paid researcher this is all my own opinion and should
not be read by anyone else.
