I've been trying to find out who prints company annual reports for
weeks now. I understand the SEC can print and send documents to people
who request them. However these documents are regular Xerox copies of
annual 10-K reports and 10-Q reports. What I need is 10-K reports
printed on the thin paper and stapled together just like those sent to
investors of companies. What company prints reports in that format for
public companies to send to investors? I really need some 10-K reports
from years back fron a company, but I need them to have the authentic
thin paper and binding. Can anybody help? Thanks!

John --

Your only "real" source will be the company itself. For decades,
companies furnished the SEC with print copies or microfiche -- and the
SEC put the documents on microfiche for ease of storage and
distribution. It allows the SEC to get copies of the key financial
data to Federal despository libraries throughout the country.
However, since the mid-1990s, the SEC has allowed electronic filing of
annual reports (which you can find on the SEC Edgar site).

So, like stock certificates, the printed reports are "antiques" and hard-to-find.

I rather expect that the printers turn over to the corporation any
reports that are not distributed directly.
