What was the speed (preferably muzzle velocity in feet per second) of
the projectile fired by the U.S. Model 1873 and 1874 Trapdoor
Springfield service rifle using standard U.S. service issue 405 grain
bullets? (I know the data for the earlier 500 grain bullets.)
