Currently I cannot burn 2 DVD's at the same time without wildly
fluctuating read buffers and 20-30 minute burn times regardless of the
write speed chosen...I wish to know how to fix this problem. Here are
the details of my System:
AMD X2 3800+ Dual Core CPU
Asus A8N-VM CSM mother board (onboard Raid 0,1,5,JBOD)
2x 1GB OCZ performance ram pc3200 (Dual Channel)
2 x 300 GB Seagate Baracuda SataII 16 mb cache - (Raid 0 128k
stripe..I have also tried 32 & 64 kb stripe no luck)
2 x Benq DW-1655 DVDRW latest firmware set as masters on independant
IDE channels set at/operating at DMA 2 as per spec.
XFX GeForce 6800GS 256mb Video PCI-E

My hdd's have been tested and benchmark as follows: Burst Rate
356mb/s, Sustained 110 mb/s...plenty of throughput.
The burns are good quality but very very slow. Separately, I can burn
a full DVD in 6 minutes either from HDD or disc to disc.
Both memory and CPU utilization are low...I am unable to understand
what might be causing the wildly fluctuating read buffers...Happens in
Nero, Copy to DVD, DVD decrypter...I have tried many many
programs...Please advise.

Answer is simple!

There is still no software fully supporting this! Keep in mind - that
sw has to handle 2 DVD devices + hard disk/s. SW not HW is the
problem!

Wait for burning program that will be aimed to do this!

DVD is still young technology!
