There was an indoor miniature golf game in the 50's/60's with a metal
felt covered playing surface (skinny fairwayesque leading to a
circular green with a hole in the middle). Interchangeable obstacles
fit on the board and you hit the golf ball with a mini golf bag with a
push button top and swinging putter attached. What was that called
and is it still made or available?

Could it have been the Marx Arnold Palmer Indoor Golf Game?

I think the arnold palmer game has actual figurines with a handle that
your hold like a golf club. This game had little golf bags (3-5
inches) with a push button on the top that swung the attached silver
metal putter

I remember this game it was back in the 60's and had molded plastic
obstacles...some when in the middle of the "fairway" others went over
the hole. No other information.

I remember this game, too. I was just trying to remember the name of
it yesterday (which helps explain how I stumbled onto this question).
I can see the game and all of (well, most of) its various pieces
clearly in my memory, but can conjure neither an image of the box nor
the name of the game itself. And it's nearly driving me insane.

I have been trying and trying to find out about a golf game I received
in about 1963. It had a golfer in the middle, and you turned him
around clockwise, aimed him and pushed a button or something - a metal
ball-bearing type ball shot up into possibly 9 holes that were in a
circle around him. I loved this game, and seem to think is was an
Arnold Palmer game. I wish I could find it so I could let my kids see
it and play with it. It had obstacles, and was almost pinball-like in
action, but the entire game was accessible - not under glass or
plastic.

I have been searching for this game for a while. I remember my
favorite obstacle was a yellow plastic teeter-totter. You had to aim
just right to get the ball to go up one side and down the other. The
final "hole" was a long ramp (or inclined plane) that fit over the
hole. The hardest hole was a small rounded hump and it was nearly
impossible to get the ball im the hole. There also was a clear
plastic bag that you had to stuff all the obstacles, balls and putters
in. I too would appreciate any information on the name and
availability of this product!
