Hello littlebrother-ga,

It is not possible to block another ebayer from viewing your auctions
but it is possible to stop them from bidding on them.

Would a solution as to how to stop them from bidding be acceptable as
an answer to your question?

No, and the chances are that they'll come back as someone else

- as I did once to draw out a scammer who was both selling pirate
software and shilling his own auctions.

Hi littlebrother-ga,

As frde-ga wrote it is not possible to block an ebuyer to view your
auctions, although ebay gives you many tools to avoid unwanted ebuyers
such as: block him/her from bidding or buying any of your listings,
create a buyer requirements exemption list, limit buyers based on their
User ID and/or Pre-approve Bidders/Buyers.

1. Block a user:

"You can create your own list of eBay members who will no longer be
permitted to bid or buy from any of your listings. Members can be
added or removed from this list at your discretion.

Before blocking a buyer, ebay recommends that you email him or her and
clearly state why you will not accept bids or Buy It Now purchases
from him or her in the future.

To do so go to this link:
http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BidderBlockLogin
There follow the instuction to block any ebuyer you'd like to (you'll
have to log-in to your ebay account in order to do so).

2. Adding buyer requirements:

By selecting certain buyer requirements, you can manage the types of
buyers you'd like to have bid on or buy your items. While this may
reduce your exposure to buyers who might make transactions difficult
or more expensive, or with a history of Unpaid Item strikes, it will
also reduce the overall number of potential buyers you'll have for
your items. For this reason, you should think carefully before using
buyer requirements to block buyers.

To add buyer requirements to your listings:
1. In My eBay, under the My Account column, click the "Preferences" link.
2. In the Seller Preferences section, click the "Edit" link. The Buyer
Requirements page opens.
3. Select your buyer requirements. These include blocking buyers who:
Are registered in countries to which you don't ship
   Have a negative feedback score
   Have received Unpaid Item strikes
Are currently winning or have bought '1-100' of your items in the
last 10 days Do not have a PayPal account or credit card on file
Have not gone through phone verification (for PayPal)
4. Click the Submit button to save your requirements.
The requirement(s) you select will be applied to your current and
future listings and can be disabled at any time.

Note: The exception to this is the requirement that buyers have a
PayPal account. This requirement will apply to future listings only
and can be disabled per item on the Sell Your Item form. Current
listings, including good-till-canceled and selling tool templates,
will not be affected. You'll need to revise these listings or
templates to enable this requirement.

Requiring buyers to have a PayPal account does not mean that the buyer
must pay for the item using PayPal. It only requires that the buyer be
a PayPal account holder before they can bid on or purchase the item
through whichever payment method you accept.

Other exceptions include the SMS process and phone verification. If
your buyers meet an equivalent requirement (have a PayPal account or
credit card on file, etc.), eBay will not block them from doing
business with you.

You can use buyer requirements to reduce your chance of experiencing a
buyer who doesn't pay for the item they have won or agreed to
purchase. For example, eBay has found that buyers who are also PayPal
account holders have up to an 80% lower Unpaid Item rate than buyers
who are not PayPal account holders.

3. Creating a buyer requirements exemption list

If you have already set up buyer blocks, you can allow specific eBay
members to bid on or purchase your items regardless of any
requirement(s) you select by adding them to your buyer requirements
exemption list.

To add buyer requirements to your listings:
1. Go to the Sitemap and click on â??Manage Biddersâ? under Selling Activities
2. Enter the User IDs of the eBay members you want to exempt from
buyer requirements.
3. Click the Submit button

4. Pre-approve Bidders/Buyers:

Limits who can bid on each of your listings

For each of your listings individually, you can create a list of
pre-approved bidders who may bid on that item.

Here's how it works:
Each pre-approved bidders list specifies the eBay members who can bid
on your item.
Members not on the list must email you for approval before they can
bid on your item.
Each pre-approved bidders list only applies to one item, so you can
restrict bidding on one of your listings without changing the others.
You can add and delete pre-approved bidders until your listing ends.
Note:

You can't restrict an item to pre-approved buyers 12 hours or less
before the scheduled listing end date.

To start or edit a pre-approved bidders list:

Hope this info will help.
