you can find his location/current status by going to Vinelink.com,
clicking 'Illinois', then 'State of Illinois' (not IL_COOK), then in
the left vertical bar under 'Search for Offender' click 'By Name'. 
then, click 'Department of Corrections', enter the last and first
name, and the details should appear.
