Question ID: 444246
How many people took the standard mileage deduction on their taxes in
2004? (I am talking about the (now) 44.5 cents a mile I can deduct as
a small-business owner who drives a lot of miles. I think 2004 will
be the latest figures, which is why I chose that year. I would assume
this will be mostly 1099 filers, but the IRS has not answered the
question.) Thanks in advance!
