I need to identify the electronics part pictured at http://vmk.ca/electronics.jpg and a place to buy it at. I think it's a condensator or capacitor something like that about 1 1/4" x 1 1/8" dimensions and 1/4" in depth |

I know for a fact that this is a capacitor. I think the best way for you to find this is by showing this to radioshack so they can order one for you if they dont have it. |

It's a capacitor, 0.16 microFarads, rated at 2500 volts. I've had some difficulty finding a cap with that voltage rating; depending on the application it is possible that a lower voltage rated cap will be adequate. Owain |
