When I was in France, I saw a wooden tube that one could use instead
of a bellows.  I liked it better than a bellows.  I am looking for
more information about this and websites that advertise it.

The good news is that I've managed to find a few sources of rustic
wooden "blowers". There are also some brass ones available.

However, you may need to make inquiries by email, or send off a
printed order form. It's clear that overseas ordering is possible, but
not always by just clicking along online. Some websites have English
information but don't offer an English order form. Others are entirely
in French.

There's one store in the US advertising what you want, but without
online ordering. If you are in Europe, Canada, or a number of other
countries, but not the US, there's one website with direct online
ordering.

Would you be happy with a short list of links to follow up? If so,
please let me know and I'll put things together into an answer for
you.
