will my exwife be entile to any of my pension when I retire from my
job. I work for New York State. we was married in 1987 and seperated
in 1990,I started working in 1972 i will be retiring in 2007. I got
devorced in 2003

This is the sort of question that one must recommend seeing a
qualified attorney in your state to be sure.

If you want a quick guess, then I can tell you that in MOST cases, if
there was no court order during the divorce stating that part of your
pension was hers, then it probably isnīt.

However, there are a variety of circumstances wherein women can go
back later and file for a re-hearing. Thatīs why one needs to see an
attorney to be sure.
