I need help in trying to sync a Audiovox PPC6700 pocket PC Phone with Mobile 5 to an IBM laptop PC with Outlook 2003 and xp professional. It could be a problem with script blocking but I have disabled the virus software. I have installed a new Outlook profile. How can you make this sync? |

Outlook has a built in security feature blocking PDA's or anything trying to access outlook from the "outside" such as PDA's I use this program called http://www.mapilab.com/outlook/security/ It will let me set the security setting for outlook and override it and then it should let you sync your PDA. I too have a ppc6700 and using this program lets me sync just fine. Just follow the instructions and it should work for you. Also you can do a search in HELP in OUTLOOK for outlook security and it will tell you all about it and how it works and what it blocks. But using that program will let you override the security and let you sync. =) |
