I am looking for a Chinese late 1970's or 1980's movie. I believe I
recall the US title as Shogun Women, probably out around the time of
TV minimovie Shogun. It is not "Revenge of the Shogun Women." I am
certain it was a Taiwan or Hong Kong production, probably Shaw Bros.
Its' opening scene was on a beach with
a sailing ship. I don't remember whether it was a junk or western
sailing ship, with I remember half a dozen or a dozen european women
captives, including at least one blonde, plus a few Chinese women, set
in I think, and maybe the movie wasn't too sure, either, about the
1800's. The women were organized into a martial arts "Dirty Half
Dozen?," to free themselves. I do not know if there is a DVD out for
it. Also, I am pretty sure a saw a dubbed US version, but there may not have
been and I might have seen it, or seen it again, at the local Chinese
cinema in the early 1980's.

Does this sound like the movie?

"A group of martial arts students are en route to an island that
supposedly is home to the ghosts of martial artists who have lost
their honor. A Hitler lookalike and his gang are running a female
slavery operation on the island as well. Soon, the two groups meet and
all sorts of crazy things happen which include cannibal monks,
piranhas, zombies, and more!"

Could it be:
"Semi-naked Amazonian warriors defend thier girls only island from
from male pirates form the men only island. Men are only free to roam
the island if they are wearing chastity belts and if they remove their
belts they get castrated. Its all out war when the men try abolish the
women only baby rule."

It is not "Raw Force" with Cameron Mitchell. I think that was set in
modern era, I do not recall cannibals or ghosts. I think it was mostly
Chinese "rebels"? "government agents"? against evil pirates,
recruiting the women captives to help them. There were certainly no
chastity belts, and although there was a woman martial artist agent,
there was not a crew of women warriors, except for the captive women
after their 30 minutes of movie kungfu training.

Hi ricky500:

How about "Yang Chi", released in 1974.

Plot: "Five Western girls are kidnapped by Chinese pirates and sold to
a brothel. While they are being trained to become prostitutes, a
couple of local citizens take mercy on them and plots their escape by
teaching them kung-fu. The five scantily-clad girls, using their
newfound martial arts skills then fight their way to freedom."
