Where can I purchase a replacement LCD panel for the Sharp PC-MM1-H1W
(Mebius) laptop? I'd like to spend as little as I can get away with.

I'm hoping that the research who answers this question will be able to
supply me with a link to a web page from which I can place an order,
or to specific information that would allow me to place an order (like
a phone number and ordering directions).

Since I'm not a professional computer repairman, I'll offer a decent
bonus to anyone who additionally can find documentation that will lead
a relative novice (with the electronic repair skills of the average
electronics hobbyist) through the process of replacing the panel.

Those instructions are *not* required to answer this question,
however. I want the panel, first and foremost.

Sincerely,

Doug

Hello Doug,
I believe the mebius mm1-h1w is another version of the sharp acticus
mm10 if i recall, with the 10.4 inch screen right? In which case the
screens would be compatible, however it is hard to find used lcd's for
them yet as they are kinda rare and still fairly new. You have two
options in this case, probably contacting sharp directly for a
manufacturer replacement part will be the easiest but not necessarily
the cheapest. They are at 1-800-BE-SHARP. i thought the mebius was a
foreign version so in the us they go by the acticus when you give them
a call. Hope this helps.
