What is the easiest way to integrate AJAX with Struts(/any MVC model
usually response to a request is a Page return). Today my existing
application servlet returns a page for request(this may no more
applicable as I may need a XML return).
I need a design solution for the following with less impact to the
existing application.
My requirement is, main page will have submodules(this page is SSO
security enabled). Customer can view,
edit any sub-modules on page. Updates on the submodule will be sent to
back-end through Action/handler and displayed the same to the
Customer. Very first request populated the complete page(all
submodules)after sussful login. Then onwards AJAX comes into picure to
edit/display submodules.
