Hello keiluko-ga,

Thank-you for your question.

From the information on that site and in your question, I can see no
problem in why you cannot switch the CPU's on these motherboards.
Both motherboards are suitable for Socket 775 Pentium 4 CPU's.

Having a different will mean you may have to install different drivers
to get your motherboard to work but these new drivers are available to
download on the manufacturer's website and will probably be included
on a CD with the motherboard. Installing the drivers is usually a
very simple procedure which if you can install the CPU you will have
no trouble with!

If you require any further assistance on this subject please do not
hesitate to ask for clarification.

Ok so it is safe to switch cpu from my current to the other?

Clarification of Answer by palitoy-ga on 13 Feb 2006 10:45 PST
Yes, it should be safe to switch the CPU from your old motherboard to
the new one. Both of these motherboards accept the same Pentium 4
CPU's. Before doing so it is always best to make sure you ground
yourself first (to free yourself from static electricity which can
ruin your computer motherboard and chips!).
