Question ID: 445397
How do I trace status of mortgage bond from 1927 (wife's ascendant)?
It was sold through G.L. Miller and Company, through the 'National
Bank of Commerce in NY'(now JP Morgan I believe). The description of
issue is "Columbus Hotel in Miami, Florida, First Mortgage 7% gold
Bonds of East Coast Enterprises Inc."
I believe there WAS a Columbus Hotel at 312 Ne 1st St, 33132, although
I do not know when it was completed or what it has become. The
certificate has a Certificate number, and an NYC number 14372.
Aggregate principal amount is $500.
