We are consulting a Primary Care Practice about how to avoid
replication of encounter data between their PM system (Medisoft) and
EPIC system (at the ENH Hospital, Chicago).

Currently, they bring printouts of EPIC and have a person reenter the
same into Medisoft. Is there any relief available from this error
prone duplication of data entry?

Can this encounter information be downloaded daily from EPIC and
uploaded into Medisoft? Are there any free downloads available which
could interconnect these systems, or can a datafile from EPIC be
dumped and uploaded into Medisoft.

Please respond only after testing the solution.
