Is a patient's DRG always on his or her discharge summary?

DRG (Diagnostic Related Groups) are not on the discharge summary.  The
physicians complete the discharge summary and a coder identifies the
correct DRG that is based off of the reason the patient is admitted to
the hospital, other diagnosis and any procedures that are performed.
