Your request is a little difficult to answer because capacitors are
not rated by resistance or wattage. Do you mean a resistor and a
capacitor? If so, both are readily available but please advise on your
country of residence so a supplier can be suggested.

Is size important? If not, one can always substitute a resistor of the
same resistance but higher wattage. For capacitors, one can substitute
the same capacitance but higher voltage. For connection across the
mains, specially rated capacitors are necessary.

Occasionally the type of resistor, eg wire wound and film, is
important. Likewise the type of capacitor -- there are different types
of ceramic and plastic film, each exhibiting different
characteristics. Electrolytic too, but one of that value won?t be
electrolytic.

So if you can provide more details, I or another can advise.

Well made capacitors have much less than 100 ohms in series and much
more than 100 ohms in parallel = leakage. At microwave frequencies
typical 0.047 Microfarad capacitors look sort of like resistors, so
some capacitors, rated 10,000 volts dc, may meet all your conditions
with a long time between failures, at some frequency. Neil

My pleasure saggy1, but it was just a brief note because I didn?t want
to overload with un-required info. Glad you sorted things out.

At your future service.
