I am looking for a list of at least 25 value added resellers, with addresses or
contact info that resell and install "Ceragon" microwave radios in the
United States? I am not interested in distibutors, just value added resellers.
As an example, I have found that Peak Networks is a reseller of the
Ceragon 1528 FiberAir product. |

Hi Freddy,
With a first pass, I can only find Peak Networks, CSG Wireless, and
LTW.com as likely Ceragon VAR's. From what I can see about the scale
of Ceragon's programs, it's not even clear that they have 25 VAR's in
the US.
Other companies handle certainly handle Ceragon products -- and may
well be VAR's -- but there's nothing on their sites or on the internet
or in trade press articles to confirm this.
Do you have reason to suppose there really are at least 25 VAR's in the US?
Let me know.

Yes, I believe there are at least 35 based on the attached URL. I
will change my question paramaters to be 25 reseller partners in
Canada and United States.

Yes, I had seen the VAR Business page on Ceragon, although I had a
different link for it:

Frankly, I'm skeptical of the 35 number, unless for some reason the
resellers do not want to make their presence known on the internet
(which could be the case, I suppose, if they sell to selective
markets, such as public safety).
With a pretty in-depth look, I've been able to come up with only ten or so.
But perhaps one of my fellow GA researchers will have better luck, and
be able to provide a more comprehensive list.
Good luck with this one!

Thanks pafalafa-ga,
From my own experience I expect there to be closer to 50 Ceragon
resellers in North America, based on the amount of business Ceragon
does in the US vs. the amount of business the average reseller does.
That said, I agree they are very hard to find and do not advertise
themselves well. Many of them are 1-2 man shops with no web presence,
only way to find them is through bid wins, etc. However, I have not
been successful at finding them, which I why pose the question.
Thanks,
Fast Freddy

Hello Freddy,
Thanks for the feedback, but I continue to be sceptical that there are
really as many resellers as has been reported.
This article mentions Ceragon's difficulties in distribution in the US
starting in 2002, which may account -- at least in part -- for the
difficulty in identifying U.S. distributors in 2004.
http://www.globes.co.il/serveEN/globes/DocView.asp?did=567640&fid=980
Nevertheless, I've identified 15 companies that -- at one time or
another -- are mentioned as Ceragon resellers or distributors:
CSG Wireless Incorporated
Peak Networks
Let's Think Wireless (LTW)/WinMill Software
Quality Wi-Fi
WirelessGuys
Phoenix Systems Corp
Synertech Wireless
Lutz and Associates, LLC
AIRLINX Worldwide Sales
Hutton Communications, Inc
Johnston Technical Services [part of Ceragon's distributor "system"]
Roeing Corporation
Lucent Technologies
Nortel
Siemens
==========
I'd be glad to provide links to information on each of these companies
and their dealings with Ceragon, as well as contact information, if
you think that would be acceptable as an answer to your question.
However, I do not think it likely (or perhaps, not even possible) that
anyone will be able to come up with 25 or more names of Ceragon
distributors in the US.
Let me know your thoughts on this.

Hi pafalafa-ga,
I am really looking for at least 25 resellers. I would prefer the
full 44, but realize that is an almost impossible task. It looks like
you are getting close, although Hutton is actually a distributor, and
a few like Nortel are OEM deals. (Still count you at 12-14 currently)
Happy Holidays,
Freddy
