Howdy delltech-ga,

What version of the BIOS is on the motherboard?

What happens if you set the new (200G) drive as the secondary master?

Thanks! denco-ga - Google Answers Researcher

Hi,

Sounds like you need a BIOS upgrade.

Please download it from:

Asus download page
http://www.asus.com/support/download/download.aspx

Could the actual motherboard model be different to the one you wrote?

Thanks.

I am using the bios 1014(latest).if the 200G drive is installed on the
secondary master it is seen as 130G.I recently downloaded the 1015
bios upgrade but as it is only a beta version i havent installed it
yet.

Howdy delltech-ga,

I don't blame you for not wanting to use a beta version of a BIOS. I
would not do that either.

Your best alternative to accessing all 200G of the new drive might be
to use a partitioning tool.

Please check out the tools available here and see if any of them help.
