What happened to 2 Marines at Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico in the
early 1980's on gate duty that were apparently killed by locals while
on guard duty at Gate #3?  Anyone care to elaborate?  I would like to
read some articles or see photos if anyone has any

These attacks were attributed to Los Macheteros - Ejercito Popular
Boricua.  This is a radical group seeking independence for Puerto
Rico. I don't think there is no information online, research must
focus on Puerto Rico newspapers El Nuevo Dia, El Mundo and The San
Juan Star.
