What happened to 2 Marines at Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico in the early 1980's on gate duty that were apparently killed by locals while on guard duty at Gate #3? Anyone care to elaborate? I would like to read some articles or see photos if anyone has any |

These attacks were attributed to Los Macheteros - Ejercito Popular Boricua. This is a radical group seeking independence for Puerto Rico. I don't think there is no information online, research must focus on Puerto Rico newspapers El Nuevo Dia, El Mundo and The San Juan Star. |
