Question ID: 445762
I am looking for a liquid crystal material (or FLCD) that can be used
in a "window" that is about 1 inch square. The key is I need to
switch the window on and off (open/closed) at a rate of 55 kilohertz.
I need the material name and part number, the company that produces it
and I need a specification sheet for it.

Hi,
I think what u need is a FLC shutter, anyways I dont think there are
FLC shutters out there that operate at a rate of 55kHz.

Best I know is 7kHz FLC shutters produced by Displaytech Inc.

Presumably you've already looked for a Pockel Cell of the appropriate
size (and, I think, wavelength range).

FLC runs too slow for my application. It is a bit of a callenge at
best. Do you knwo of any alternatives to FLC?
