Question ID: 445773
REQUESTING:
1. A list of ~3-5 of the best neighborhoods based on parameters.
2. Short descriptions of those neighborhoods focused on how they fit
listed parameters. Links to more information would be helpful if
appropriate. Average 2BR condo prices would be a nice bonus.

BACKGROUND: My wife and I are relocating to Fort Worth, TX for ~4-5
years and envision moving away after that time. Goal is to find a
"nice" neighborhood that is well located for our occupations.

PARAMETERS:
Location: Ideally located closest to Fort Worth, closer to DFW, and
reasonable distance from Dallas.
1. Most importantly, the wife will be attending school every day:
3500 Camp Bowie Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76107
2. My current job will require that I go to the DFW airport every week.
3. We want to be reasonably located from downtown Dallas for
entertainment and weekly/bi-monthly job-related visits.

Housing & Neighborhood
1. We are thinking of buying a simple, 2BR condo. We are willing to
pay ~100% to 150% of the average Fort Worth condo price. (I believe
avg home is ~$110K, but don't know if condo prices are different)
2. Want a relatively "nice" neighborhood: relatively low crime, higher
than average median income. Good schools are not as important, since
we will only be there 4-5 yrs and don't have kids yet. (Although I
know good neighborhoods tend to have good schools.)

CURRENT FINDINGS:
Colleyville, TX is a candidate in all parameters EXCEPT price. Appears
to be a rich neighborhood that's way too expensive. (Housing prices
look 3x Fort Worth prices.)

Arlingont, TX has a good location but crime looks pretty high.
