I have a question about claims that oxygen skin treatments are
dangerous and that depriving your skin of oxygen actually increases
collagen production. I don't know why this should be. Its something I
found on Pubmed, the medical research site.
http://anti-aging-with-sasha.com/dangerous-wrinkle-treatments.htm.It
this true? And if so, what are the consequences of oxymist facials
that are administered with oxygen. See
http://www.oxymist.com/Oxymist/oxymist.htm regarding oxy-mist
treatments and amino acid formulas adminstered with medical grade
oxygen to aid recovery after laser and other resurfacing treatment.
What is the best way to heal after co-2 laser resurfacing and to aid
in healing the pinkness thus restoring skin back to its normal color?

I don't actually know anything about this issue, but two things come to mind:

1) there are a lot of highly questionable health claims about the
benefits of various types of "oxygen" therapy

2) it seems highly unlikly that oxygen applied to the skin (either as
a gas or as a cream of some kind) would have any health benefit

3) high concentrations of oxygen can cause burns or damage
