i need to exchange some Bermudian dollars in NZ but am unable to find
a bank or Travelex that will exchange them. Can anyone suggest
anywhere preferable here or in the UK

Most UK banks and Travel Agents will exchange Bermudian $'s.  Might
want to try Natwest Bank first.

Alternatively, I would suggest Thomas Cook Travel Agent or Barclays Bank.
