I am looking for an utility or method to erase single entries in these
programs. I love the feature, but I am saddled with onetime whimseys
and errors in entry. When I looked at some of the previous answers, I
did not see an entry that worked for me.

Thanking you in advance.

I would more like to edit entries in database like entries e,g,
Google, Internet Movie Data Base, Bookfinder.com, Amazon, etc. I have
a lot of one time items that I have no crrent or future interest. I
also have creative or morelikely inattentive spelling. I often play
"Six degrees of Kevin Bacon" in IMDB to avoid getting even longer
lists in the search function. I wish to avoid knocking them all out.

Editing autofill would be nice. I now have Linden, Texas as one of my
choices and the chances that e'er I will want to use this as a coice
again is nigh well nonexistent

What do you mean precisley? The autofill function that sets the
information in www.google.com, a sort of history what you already
typed in ?

Or the one where you can autofill the form with your personal details
such as Name/Adress/E-mail etc ?

You want the Form History Manager extension:

http://www.radebatz.net/mano/mozilla/extensions/formhistory/

or:
