Much internal discussion has taken place regarding the format of our
home page. The center of the page features two products and three
others appear below this "featured products" section. Is it obvious
that these products do not represent our entire offering? Some have
commented that web browsers might not be aware that we offer around
30,000 products on the website. Our website home page can be seen at
www.AllegroMedical.com

I looked at your website and it looks like any other large on-line
retailer. Someone would have to be pretty thick to see your site and
think that you only sell 5 products, especially with a huge list of
categories on the left to shop from!

I've got to agree with the second option: it isn't that clear.
Your website has good quality pictures and a layout familiar to
bigger-company types of website (e.g. Amazon, obviously). In this
respect I would click on the categories to the left and expect more.
However, I have seen many websites that look similar to this, in that
they have the pictures on the front page but if you click on the
category links it just reorders the same bunch of pictures. Your
website gives that same impression to me I am afraid. I am but one
man, but I can see how confusion would arise.
(P.S. the only OBVIOUS indicator(in that no knowledge of usual
websites would be required) that there are more goods is the part of
the right "Home Gym" where the prices are "From...". I take that to
mean that there are a range of goods but I would never guess that it
sold so many products.

I think it's abundantly clear. The center says "FEATURED PRODUCTS",
and there's categories on the left. I am reminded of Walgreens and
their "Featured Product" at the check-out stand...

If I was led to your site somehow, I would glance at the featured
products, then click on the category I wanted on the left.
