I have a Gateway AR230 ,it allway shows "NO DISC" , I found that after
inserting  the disc, there is a red light which  flashes once, but no
motor running , the DVD/CD Rewritable Drive marked: LITE-ON IT
CORP,MODEL:DDW-401S,can I fix it easily? how ? Thanks

How resourceful are you with computers?
Wait, I should ask how technical are you with Computers?

Well, I am knowledable and also have a bad drive in my ar230.  Would
you know if a liteonit sohw-1693s is a good replacement drive.  Hope
so because it also burns -r/-rw dvd discs
