There was a British judge in the 60s who said "Who are the Beatles?" during a court case. Who was that judge, and what was the case? Just quotes from journalists who mention the case isn't what I want, unless they give the answer to the question. "It's an urban legend" also does not constitute an answer. | |

Note to Researchers: "[A]wards and predictions.... The magnum of champagne (really) for proving to me that a judge had actually once asked, "Who are the Beatles?": No prize awarded, for the 16th year running. I don't believe it was ever said." http://talk.workunlimited.co.uk/g2/story/0,3604,1377733,00.html |

Well thanks very much for that. It really makes the whole question redundant. |
