I want to buy a PC based software package that will allow me to:

Connect my PC to a mainframe computer by telephone, using terminal emulation.

Execute a script, consisting of various keystrokes(and possibly stock
numbers from a pre-prepared database), to navigate to specific pages.

Extract key information from selected pages.

Place extracted information into a database.

Go on to the next selected page.

I need a list of possible packages.

Another possibility is a VT100 emulator with the ability to do some
basic data scraping. For example scraping an entire page and putting
it in a database.
