Please advise on the proper procedure and techniques to "strip" the
coat of a smooth fox terrier. I'm looking to obtain the same type of
coat that the smooth fox terrier who recently won the Westminster Best
of Breed category had.

Because of the sensitive nature of the process I think it is best (for
the sake of your pet) if you are referred to professional resources
rather than having a researcher attempt to condense the process in a
formatted answer. Please take a look at these resources. These are
guides to stripping the coat of several breeds of Fox Terriers. Let me
know if this sufficiently answers your question and/or leads you to
it.

Have you had a chance to review the sources? Are they acceptible?

Hi there,
thanks for the research and for the links. However, these procedures
are for "wirehaired fox terriers", which is quite a bit different than
a "smoothfox terrier". If these links were "smoothfox" terrier
specific it would have been perfect!

thanks,

Jeff Appleton
