Dear Scriptor,

In regards to your question "Would contact information for the Human
Resources Specialist and the Human Resources Assistant fulfill your
needs?" the short answer is "yes".

However, just to clarify, I am asking for the NAME and POSITION (or
title) of the MOST SENIOR person at the Human Resources division (such
as Vice president, Manager, Head recruiter). If possible, contact
information (tel, fax, email) would be a great plus.

I was able to find the VP of HR at Ballard Power Systems, Inc.

In the SEC filing that I looked at, I found the name and address
below.

I was not able to confirm that he is still in  his current post
because it is the weekend now.  I will call next week and post

I found out that the HR Generalist in BC, Cananda, is Nancy Jackson
and in the Michigan subsidary is David Dilaura.  I was informed that
Joe Laymon is no longer with Ballard, and that Ballard is currently
recruiting for the VP of HR.

Note:  Executive positions are not necessarily listed in job boards.

I do hope this helps you out.  Let me know if you need clarification
of the answers.

I called the Media Relations Department of Ballard (604.454.0900,
found @ http://www.ballard.com/tB.asp?pgid=114 ) and asked for the
name of the Manager of HR.  The woman I spoke to said they have no one
in that position at the moment, they're "currently recruiting for the
head of that department."

Thank you for your inquiry. I am a little doubtful that Ballard is
actually recruiting for the head of the department because there is no
job opening posted on Ballard's career website within the HR
department (see http://www.recruitingsite.com/csbsites/ballard/JobList.asp).

Even if this were true, I would then be interested in getting the
contact info (especially NAME and POSITION) of the next most senior
person within the HR department.
