Dear jared8-ga
Thank you for allowing me an opportunity to answer your interesting
question. It looks like you?re not only in luck, but you also have
some relatively well-known family history!!!
RALPH HENRY BOCKMIER was the son of a prosperous pioneer family of
Whitman County Washington and who later became a quite a well-known
businessman in the lumber industry. He was born in Palouse, in Whitman
County, Washington on June 19, 1893. He was the son of Paul T.
Bockmier, Sr. (erroneously listed as ?Paul B. Bockmier?) and Sarah
Emma (nee; Farnam) Bockmier and was their second oldest surviving
child. He was one of 6 surviving children, having had three brothers
and two sisters:
1. Paul Thaddeus Bockmier, Jr.
Birth: 15 SEP 1891 Palouse, Whitman, Washington
Death: 28 FEB 1977 Colfax, Whitman, Washington
2. RALPH HENRY BOCKMIER
3. Carl William Bockmier

Death: 02 JUN 1995 Modesto, Stanislaus, California
6. Charles Fredrick Bockmier

Death: 12 JUN 1992 , , Washington
Ralph Bockmier married Mae L. Turner (born September 13, 1896, died
1981) on September 7, 1919 in Ada County, Idaho. Oddly enough, records
indicate they had no children of their own but this could be due to a
simple error or an incomplete entry.
Ralph Bockmier died in Spokane, Washington July 1, 1969.

Sometime after is death an anonymous donor left your Ralph Bockmier?s
personal papers with the Latah County Historical Society, Moscow,
Idaho. They were later donated to the Washington State University
Libraries in 1992 where the joined a small collection of papers that
the library had already acquired. His biography is covered fully in
the autobiographical material in his papers and some personal
correspondence, personal memoirs and at least one portrait photo dated
