Hi dodthmakai!!

First of all I suggest you to try with Adaware, one of the most
reputed antispywares, it is free. This program will help you to remove
from your computer the spyware and other types of pestwares:
http://lavasoft.element5.com/software/adaware/

To download it:
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download506.html/

Then install and run it and let it fix anything that it found; for a
guide of how to do that visit the following page:
"Ad-aware Tutorial":
http://www.fluteloop.com/Adaware6.htm

The use of Adaware must fix your computer from WeatherCast and Save!
If not, please follow the instructions at the following pages:

1. Weather Cast:
"WhenU.WeatherCast - Pest Patrol Pest Enciclopedia":
http://www.pestpatrol.com/PestInfo/w/whenu_weathercast.asp#Detection and Removal

2. Save!:
"How do I uninstall Save!?": (from WhenU.com)
"To uninstall Save! from your desktop, you will be required to
uninstall all of the Save! supported software you have downloaded.
To see what Save! supported software you have downloaded, click on the
"?" in the corner of any Save! coupons, offers, or ads that you see
while surfing the Internet, or click on the "More..." link at the
bottom of. Uninstalling all of the supported software should remove
Save! entirely from your system.
To uninstall Save!, follow these instructions:
?Click on the Start Menu button
?Click on the Settings option
?Click on the Control Panel option
?Double click on Add/Remove Programs
?Choose Add/Remove Programs
?Select Save!
?Click on Add/Remove
?Click on OK
If you are experiencing any difficulties with this uninstall process,
you can also find a manual uninstaller in c:/program
files/save/saveuninst. Double click on the saveuninst file and follow
the prompts for removal of the software."

The following page confirms the above info and also give instructions
on WheatherCast uninstalling:
"How to Detect and Remove SaveNow?":
Scroll down until the section SaveNow Manual Removal be displayed.

Keep this page in your bookmarks for future reference:

I hope that this helps you. If you need more help on this feel free to
request for further assistance using the clarification feature.

Best regards.

You need to remove viruses and spyware (though both of these are
classed as spyware)

Cheapest way - and effective - is to download Anti Virus Software
provided FREE by Grisoft - and update it regularly and scan your
machine completely every week. You can get this from:
http://free.grisoft.com/doc/Get+AVG+FREE/lng/us/tpl/v5

After you have Updated the virus definitions.
Uninstall WeatherCast using the Add/Remove Programs utility.
Run a full system scan and delete all the files detected as Adware.Weathercast.

You also need to delete the value that was added to the registry.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\WhenU\Weather

HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\WhenU\Weather

To do this in XP:
Click Start, and then click Run. (The Run dialog box appears.)
Type regedit

Then click OK. (The Registry Editor opens.)

Navigate to and delete the keys:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\WhenU\Weather

HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\WhenU\Weather

Exit the Registry Editor.

You also need a number of ANTI-SPYWARE PROGRAMMES -again you can get
them FREE from:
I recommend you download, regularly update and run ...

SpyBot
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html

Ad-Aware
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/

I have also bought a copy of Pestpatrol but you can get a free trial edition

They have a handout on SPyware which will help you understand what
they are do and how to get rid of them:
http://www.247secure.net/pestpatrol/eTrust%20PestPatrol%20Anti-Spyware%20_faqs.pdf

To download a free trial version of Pestpatrol Anti-SPyware
http://www.247secure.net/pestpatrol/

This should do the trick - and will probably pick up many many more
trojans that are slowing down your PC

Hope you get sorted

Note that PestPatrol trial versions only detect but not remove pestwares.

Despite of this installing full version of PestPatrol is a very good idea.
