I need extensive statistics on time and mediums of online chatting
(typing), talking (voice) and video (web-cam and other) including, but
not limited to so called "buddy-chatting" and "professional chat"
(customer service on sites etc.)
Pleas break up your answer per medium and/or company.
Details needed:
1) Average daily time spent per user.
2) Number of total users.
2) Level of addictiveness/loyalty towards medium.
Example of companies to include in research: AIM, MSN MESSENGER,
GOOGLE TALK, YAHOO MESSENGER, SKYPE. Please do not limit your findings
to these companies alone.
