A long while ago, perhaps 6 or 7 years ago, Nintendo Power magazine
put out a VHS tape exclusive to subscribers of Nintendo Power. The
promo video included footage of various upcoming Nintendo 64 games for
the time, but the main point of interest for me was the footage for
the Jet Force Gemini game's promo. During this promo montage, a
beautiful orchestral song played, and I can't for the life of me think
of the name of the song. I had even all but forgotten about
it until, lo and behold, the song revisited me as background music for a
commercial for FOX's American Idol. I've been, for over 6 months now,
searching for the title of this song.

The promo footage in question:

Nintendo Promo Video Part 1 (various footage) and JFG promo video 2
videos contain the song in what appears to be a medley. I'm more
concerned about the first orchestral song, but the song at the end
would be nice to know as well.

The song from the promo footage isolated in mp3:

The commercial that I managed to Tivo and rip:

I'm currently offering a $30 bounty for the name of this song, and possibly
where to find a CD with the song on it to buy.

It has come to my attention that the promo video is composed of a few
songs, but I'd still like to know each song's name.
