I have my web site on asp server. I want to convert it on html format
in order to be able to transfer it on a CD and carry it anywhere I go.

I am not a computer maniac thus I need to find out the easiest way to
do it. If possible to be done in a single mouse click...

1 Open a page in browser
2 Do a Ctrl+A
3 Do a Ctrl+C (2 and 3 for copy)
4 Open FrontPage express / or any HTML editors
5 Do a Ctrl+V (Past)
6 save the file as .htm/.html

Repeat the steps for other pages of your ASP app.

yes thats a way but consider that if the web site has 50-100 pages at
the end I will have to link them all together, right?

What you're asking is kinda hard to do, ASP will more than likely
generate pages in realtime at some point, the only real way you can do
it is to try and find a portable ASP webserver that you can put on the
CD with the website, this way you would need only to run the server
program.

try the XSP program available at http://www.mono-project.com

Again thanks for your comment. Nevetheless this portable sort of
server will have to be different for each OS. I need something more
universal. I understand is hard to do cause in easy way is probably to
construct the whole website from the beginning which is not so easy
after all... If there was a universal XSP program..??? May be this
would be the answer to tthe question!
