a lab urine test. ive searched far and wide to even a hint to this
question. heres what i do know. ultram is an opiod but apparently its
structure does not resemble codeiene, morphine, etc, but it does bind
to opiate receptors. from what i hear, for example, if u take
methadone, a drug test would have to specificcaly look for methadone
not just opiates, so im wondering if ultram is similar in that a drug
test would have to specificcaly look for it, or would i just test
positive for opiates. any insight would be helpful.

thanks for posting the drugckeck web site which references tramadol.
however i admit im not quite able to put what it is saying into
laymans terms. it almost seems to indicate that oxycodone and tramadol
dont show up on an opiate test. i am i misunderstanding this?thanks.

Hi nirvana29

that is correct, according to Table IX and as described in the text
"Oxycodone, oxymorphone, tramadol, meperidine, nor-meperidine, nor-morphine,
nor-codeine, and buprenorphine showed no interference at 50,000 ng/mL".
That is, at those concentrations they did not yield a positive
immunoassay result for opiates.
